what is the defining feauture of a system?
I'm currently working on my science homework and have encountered a question that I need help with. The question is: "What is the defining feature of a system?" I have four answer choices to consider: a) collision, b) properties that don't change, c) interaction, or d) gravitational force. Can anyone assist me in identifying the correct answer? Thank you!

c – interaction
Not all systems involve collisions or gravitational force (although many do!), and just having properties that don’t change doesn’t make a system (think of a single inanimate object sitting on a table). But all systems have some sort of interaction going on within them.
Depends on the system and what it is supposed to do. That means knowing the context in which you are asking (“science” covers a lot of territory.)
