The question has a couple of flaws. First of all your teacher (or whatever person contrived the question) is probably looking for “E” as an answer. BUT, first of all, “magma” does not cool at the surface. When magma rises to the surface it becomes “lava”.
Secondly, the type of “crystalline structure” does not depend on where the crystals form. (Unless it cools so quickly that it forms a glass, like obsidian. In that case choice “C” is correct.) A “crystalline structure” is dependent on the type of atoms, their bonding and geometry. So choices like A, B, C, D, or E have no relevance.
Good luck, but given your situation, it is probably “E”.
