Which are specific to just prokaryotes, or just plants, or just animals?

What characteristics are unique to prokaryotes, plants, or animals? Specifically, how do these groups differ in their cellular structures and functions?

All cells have at least one strand of DNA. prokaryotic cells are single celled, plants have a cell wall and vacuoles, animal cells have a centrosome. smooth or: synthesize lipids, metabolized carbohydrates, store calciumrough or: has bound ribosomes, produces proteinsGolgi apparatus: flattened membrane sacs, modifies products of the ER manufacturers macromolecule sorts. lysosomes: membrane sac of hydrolytic enzymes, hydrolyzes proteins, mitochondria: power house of the cell, makes ATP and such chloroplasts: allows photosynthesis to be a thing

Prokaryotes: Prokaryote are simple, single-celled organism that lacks a well defined nucleus and membrane-bound organelles.Photosynthetic membranes: Some of the prokaryotes have photosynthetic membrane to capture sunlight energy which facilitates the process of photosynthesis. Flagella and fimbriae: Flagella and fimbriae are simple, fibrous structures which facilitates the movement in simple prokaryotes. The nucleoid: The nucleoid is the organelle in the prokaryotes in which the genome of the prokaryotic organism is stored. Magnetite-containing structures: These are organelles specific to prokaryotes.Just plants: Plants are autotrophic organisms that are capable of making their own food by the process of photosynthesis. All plants belongs to the kingdom Plantae.Vacuoles: Vacuoles are organelles not just but mainly found in plants. They functions as discharge of cellular or metabolic waste from plants. Chloroplasts: It is an organelle that is found in plants that exhibit chlorophyll  pigment, which traps the sunlight necessary for photosynthesis. Just animal: Animals are hetrotrophic organisms that derive their food from other organisms such as plants and animals. They belong to the kingdom Animalia. Lysosomes: These are specialized cell organelles, which are also called as suicidal bags. Found mainly in animals. These organelles traps cellular waste and facilitate it's discharge from the body. Lack a cell wall: Animals lack a cell wall, which is found mainly in plants.

The cell organelles that are only present in prokaryotes are fimbriae and flagella. The cell organelles that are only present in plants are cell wall, photosynthetic organelles and vacuoles. The cell organelles that are only present in animals are cytoskeleton and lysosomes.  Further explanation:Prokaryotes are the most primitive and simplest cells found on the earth. A typical prokaryote is a unicellular cell containing mitochondria and some organelles. Bacteria and archaea are the two different divisions of prokaryotes. The bacteria contain the peptidoglycan layer, which is absent in the archaea. The archaea contain ether-linked lipids while the bacteria contain ester-linked lipids. Flagella is a structure that is used by all the prokaryotes for movement. The fimbriae in the prokaryotes help in the attachment of the bacterial cell to the animal cell or even the inanimate objects.  A plant is an autotrophic organism that is the primary producer on the earth. The presence of stem, roots, leaves and sometimes fruits is the typical representation of a plant. A typical plant cell contains a cell wall that gives rigidity, photosynthetic organelles that help in the preparation of the food and vacuoles that contain cell sap.Kingdom Animalia contains all the creatures that are considered to be animals. These are multicellular organisms that are dependent on the plants for food. A typical animal cell is devoid of the cell wall but contains structures like cytoskeleton that gives rigidity to the cell and lysosomes that are known as suicidal bags.  Learn more:Learn more about pain killer: Learn more about parts of the science: Learn more about earthliving organisms: Answer Details:Grade: Middle SchoolSubject: BiologyTopic: Types of cellsKeywords:Prokaryotes, bacteria, archaea, flagella, fimbriae, vacuoles, cell wall, cell membrane, photosynthetic organisms, autotrophs, cytoskeleton, lysosomes, suicidal bags.

Prokaryotes have magnetite-containing structures, nucleoid (their version of a nucleus), fimbriae.Animals have lysosomes.Plant cells have chloroplasts (make the plant cells green, produce energy for plants), photosynthetic membranes (produce energy for plants), cell well.Flagella can be found in prokaryotes and animal cells but for a simpler biology class, I would put it with prokaryotes.
