its ability to be graphedExplanation:A qualitative data essentially provides the outcome of an experiment in a descriptive manner. It cannot be measured but can only be observed. For example: color of a solution, texture of a metal etc.In contrast, a quantitative data provides a numeric value to explain the outcome of an experiment. It can be measured using appropriate tools. The data can be analysed through graphs to model the behaviour of a certain experiment or to predict an outcome. For example: temperature, volume, weight are all quantitative data. In reaction kinetics for example, the change in concentration of reactants is monitored as a function of time. Both, concentration and time are quantitative data and can be plotted to deduce the order of a reaction.

The correct answer is option c. its ability to be graphed.Explanation:Quantitative data is a measure used in statistics where the values used are expressed as numbers. In other words, it is information expressed with numerical variables.Whereas qualitive data refers to measures of "types". This measurement is represented with codes, numbers or symbols. In simple words Quantitative means Quantity and Qualitative, Quality.Although these data are different, they are used together to obtain certain information from a population.

Assuming that this is referring to the same list of options that was posted before with this question, the correct response would be the "objectivity" of the researcher, since quantitative data is often indisputable from an objective sense, whereas qualitative data can be interpreted in different ways.

Characteristics that best distinguishes quantitative data from qualitative data is: C. it's ability to be graphedQuantitative data is the data that can be physically counted. Since the data can be counted, it can be presented in various form of diagram and graph to represent the change of its amount from time to time

Quantitative data is best distinguished by the root word "quantity" from qualitative data which is rooted from its base "quality." This lets us easily distinguish these two from each other.

Quantitative data and Qualitative dataQualitative data are type of datas that were gathered through a descriptive either verbal or written means like:PhenomenologyCase studiesField studiesArchival studiesQualitative studiesSurveysWhile, quantitative data are data that can be used to infer facts or generalise into a populace using statistical methods from inferential statistics like t-test, anova, and other related methods. These qualitative data can be made into a quantitative data by means of context analysis.

The characteristic that best distinguishes quantitative data from qualitative data (assuming that is what you are aiming for) is the objectivity of a research. This is because quantitative data is often an unchallenged fact, qualitative data can be interpreted in different ways since it refers to characteristics and so on forth.
