Can a 883 Evo vtwin be put into a Fatboy frame?
Could an 883 Evo V-Twin engine be installed in a Fat Boy frame? I’m not suggesting that I would pursue this, but I feel that many modern engine sizes are excessive. For my needs, I’ve never required more than 50 horsepower and 50 ft-lbs of torque for something weighing under 1,000 lbs. Many 2,500 lbs cars operate with less than 120 horsepower and 120 ft-lbs of torque while comfortably carrying four passengers. I’m not a fan of sacrificing fuel efficiency for overpowered engines that don’t align with my preferences.

Going to have to do some cutting and welding.
Sportsters are unit construction (transmission and engine in same case). The big twin uses a separate transmission. Will have some fabrication to do.
