Failed to access Catalyst Install Manager engine?
I have been struggling with this issue for weeks. Every time I try to download a new driver for my ATI graphics card, I receive the same error message: "Failed to access Catalyst Install Manager engine." I have already tried reinstalling the Catalyst Install Manager and uninstalling, then reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, but nothing has worked. I am desperate for assistance and would appreciate any help or suggestions you may have.

Chances are you haven't properly removed a previous version of CCC/driver
When youextracte CCC/driver package it will create a folder like the following (assuming you have win7/vista 64 bit or the folder name will be slightly different):
Code:
C:ATISupport10-11_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_enuLook for a file in that directory called "setup.exe" and launch it. That will begin the installer.
If you fill out your system system specs it may be easier to help you.
