1beef flank or round tip steak (1-1/2 to 1-3/4 pounds)
1/2cup lime juice
6cloves garlic, chopped
1teaspoon black pepper
1large green bell pepper, cut lengthwise into 1-inch strips
1tablespoon olive oil
8corn tortillas, warmed
Tomato salsa
Preparation: 1.Combine steak, lime juice, garlic and black pepper in resealable food storage bag; seal. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours, turning at least once to marinate steak evenly.
2.Preheat broiler. Remove steak from bag; place on broiler pan. Sprinkle with salt to taste. Brush bell peppers with oil. Broil steak 6 to 9 minutes per side for medium rare to medium, turning once. Add pepper strips to broiler pan while turning steak.
3.Transfer steak to cutting board; slice across the grain into thin strips. Place on warm tortillas. Top with pepper strips and salsa. Serve immediately.

The hell with a frying pan….Listen to me very carefully….I would thinly slice you carne asada and marinade them in lime juice, a tad of soy sauce, a sprinkle of sugar, salt, pepper, garlic. Leave that to maranade for a couple hours. In the mean time, get your grill going. Once your grill is fired up, throw those steaks on…then lightly brush some corn torillas with olive oil and grill those too. Slice up the steak and top the corn tortillas with the steak. Add chopped white onions, cilantro, and red or green salsa and wallah!!! This is sooooo yummy. Try it.
