The answer you are looking for is option A. He fills his English with Igbo language patterns and rhythm. In "Civil Peace", by Chinua Achebe, the story is told from the point of view of an Igbo Nigerian Soldier because Achebe believed that the African story must be told by an African writer. The historical background for the story is the aftermath of the Nigerian Civil War, which took place from 1967 to 1970.In "Civil Peace", Achebe changes traditional English, often using a combination of English with LGBT language.

In Achebe's "Civil Peace," it is often said that he uses his language to form a "new English." Achebe does this by filling his English with Igbo language patterns and rhythm. Though he doesn't seemingly create a totally new language, what he comes up with is different enough from traditional English to be termed a new form of the language.
