How many years ago did Jesus die, considering today's date is February 15, 2010?

Due to date errors it has been decided that Jesus was born in 4 BC.

He was about 33 when crucified so that was AD29.

2010 – 29 = 1981 years. (approx’)

Researh has it that Jesus died at the age og 80, and not 33 as we are made to believe…therefore, putting that in mind, 2014-80= he died 1934 years ago plus/minus a few years of course.

He was born in year 1, it’s 2010 now, and he was 33 when he died. 2010 – 33 = 1977. (give or take a few years)

best estimate for the birth of Jesus is 4BC in the summer (the initial calculation for the date, done in the dark ages, was slightly off.) He is thought to be between 30 & 35 when he died, so between 1979 and 1984 years ago.
