how to get smart steam ?
I am interested in obtaining Smart Steam, which I understand is the free game version of Steam. However, I have struggled to find it online. My search results on Google have been unhelpful and often irrelevant. If anyone knows where I can safely download Smart Steam without any risk of viruses, could you please share the link? Thank you!

There is no “Free” version of steam because Steam itself is Free
smart steam was a software that was used to play games illegally, luckily it DOESN’T work anymore, if you ever find it, it will most probably install a keylogger, and i mean it, some friends have try this kind of programs and everyone of them have failed with dangerous results
1.- in the BEST scenario it will not work, and that’s it
2.- will kind of work, but get your steam account banned (no kidding, has happened)
3.- will show you a strange error and tell you to wait, but it actually will install a keylogger in your computer, if you don’t know what a keylogger is, is a program that records all the keys that you press, and send them to a remote server, that way all your accounts of any kind in your pc could get “hacked” (search for Keyloggers in wikipedia)
4.- will actually break your computer by changing the configuration of other programs (generally Graphic ones)
so i recommend to you that, you download the official steam, and play all the “free to play” games that they have, you can play Legally Team Fortress 2 for free, and many others
*making this kind of software is an easy way to spread viruses, because the users themselves will search for it, and download it, and give all the Administrator permissions to make it work, making it pretty easy to steal your accounts
** And remember, you have to take the same precautions with ANY software that you download from internet

It’s probably busy because as you know, it’s a free weekend today. If you install it off your friend’s disc, well you can’t do that. Because the CD Key is already used, and it installs data to the disc after you enter the key. If it doesn’t however, it will install the data, but you will have to purchase it.
