How to quote someone using mla?
How can I properly quote someone in MLA format? The quote I'm referencing is not from a book but is something someone said in conversation. What are the specific guidelines or examples I should follow to ensure I format it correctly?

it depends how you want it. go to this website and it will tell you specifically how to do it

here are the two ways i would do it:
1. According to _______ , “____________”
2. blah blah blah “_________” (last name of the person)
if you do number two, then you need a works cited page with the persons last name. i suggest you use the first method.
