‘Invalid’ Directory error when trying to upload .Nif files in creation kit.?
Hello! I've been modding Skyrim for a while, but I've encountered a problem. When I try to upload a .nif file to create a new piece of furniture, I receive the error message "Invalid directory." I would appreciate any help in identifying the issue, as I see many other modders successfully doing this.
Here are the steps I've already tried: - Duplicating an object and changing the .nif file, but I still receive the same error message. - Creating a new object from scratch and uploading a .nif file, yet the error persists. - Attempting both of the above with and without Skyrim loaded. - Placing the .nif files in different locations, including the Steam apps directory, but the error remains. - Trying different .nif files, but I continue to encounter the same error message.
Thank you for your assistance!
