Is a thumbs up emoji an acceptable Thank You?
I just scored a $25 wine tasting ticket for a friend’s friend. When I texted her to let her know, I received only a thumbs up emoji in response. I feel somewhat slighted by this reply. Is using a thumbs up emoji an acceptable way to say thank you nowadays, or can I reasonably expect a more meaningful expression of gratitude?
