This is not medical advice; please visit a doctor.

Narconal was a fictional drug mentioned in the 1992 movie Death Becomes Her, which was referred to as a very powerful alcohol-based tranquilizer. See how the word was used in the film below:

00:44:06 - As you know, Narconal is a very powerful alcohol-based tranquilizer,
00:44:11 - so you won’t need much.
00:44:13 - Tomorrow, I’ll call Madeline to say good-bye.
00:44:15 - I’ll get her to invite me to dinner. - Why don’t you come to dinner?

Tranquilizers are drugs classified as sedative-hypnotics, which are central nervous system depressants. Ingested in pill or capsule form, tranquilizers are available by prescription only. Many tranquilizers tend to induce sleep. As the dose increases, so does the degree of sedation, physical coordination, and impairment of mental acuity.

While watching films such as Scarface, Blow, Boogie Nights, Traffic, or Pineapple Express, do you ever wonder what the actors on-screen are actually snorting, smoking, or drinking, take after take? Read more at Businessinsider.com to find out.
