On a scale of 1-10, how rude do you think this is and would you ever do it?
On a scale of 1 to 10, how rude do you think it is to suddenly cut off a close friend without any explanation? Would you ever do something like that? Imagine you have a “best friend” whom you’ve known since 2010. One day, you talk to them normally, and then out of the blue, you ignore them completely—no arguments, no explanations. You delete them from social media and act as if you don’t know them when you pass by in public. This is what happened to me; my friends did this to me, and it’s been a year and a half since it occurred. They now feel like strangers. There were four of us in the group, and although I was closest to one of them, they all cut me off, including my “best friend.” I’m curious about how they can feel okay about this. Could you ever do something like this to someone? How rude do you think that behavior is?
