Is red wine halal???
I understand this might be a naive question, but I’m curious. My friend is Turkish, and he drinks wine, which surprised me because I’ve always thought wine was haram in Islam. Can someone clarify this for me? Thank you!

Anythings that lead to absentmindedness is “Haram”
These includes Wine and any kind of drink having Alcohol.
Devil Satan will always mislead when you’re drunk.
Even a drop is Haram.

The cheap ones are Haram. But if you find a good wine that doesn t cost too much and you don t drink to the point where you are drunk and beat up your wife and kids and end up on an episode of the cops, then i think you are in the green. When the world ends, and I turn out to be wrong and the mullahs turn out to be right, well even then wine will be the least of our worries. Cheers!

Not at all. It is indeed Haram.
This is proved from our Prophet (p.b.u.h.), that he said: “The wine is mother of all evils”. This Hadith clearly indicates that wine is a main source of wickedness.

All that is haram, beer wine, vodka , martini, whisky, rum, brandy, ale, etc,
Man is made best of the spices made by Allah.

the list is unending.
then too Allah refers to us as Ashraf ul Makhlukaat, the best of his created living things , WHY ?
Besause he gave us Intelligence, Akal e salim, and we men want to numb our intelligence, the only thing that makes us best by having intoxcating drinks.
