Is the 2005 Yamaha V-Star 650 fuel injected or carburetor?
I am wondering whether my 2005 Yamaha V-Star 650 is fuel injected or has a carburetor. I’m unsure if all 2005 models are the same. Unfortunately, I don’t have the manual for my bike, and when I search online, it often states that the bike is carbureted. However, my neighbor has the same model, and he insists that it is fuel injected. I would greatly appreciate any clarification on this matter. Thank you!

Maybe your neighbor doen’t have a clue. If on line at yamaha-motor.com said it is carb then it is unless he has put injection on his. That is a very good upgrade if he did. fuel milage and elavation changes are no problem.

the new models are all fuel injected like 1993 and older are all carbarated
