My dog ate a dragonfly, will he be okay?
My bull terrier just ate a dragonfly, and I’m concerned about whether this could cause any health issues or poison him. Will this unusual insect lead to any problems? I'm worried because it was quite large.

Not a problem. Don’t be surprised if he throws it up though. My lab puppy would eat june bugs like they were candy and then would happily throw up the whole mess. My rat terrier loves to eat grasshoppers after catching and playing with them. She tried to eat a bee…won’t do that one again I promise you. That was the only one I was worried about!
Yes. He’ll be fine. Why? Is he on a weird dog food that has BHT in it? If so, see the vet or change his diet.
haha yea my dog eats all types of bugs they are accually high in protein and good for them
i think so, my dog kills house flies all the time and sometimes eats them… shes ok so far.
