I am trying to understand what "soil level" means on my front load washing machine. I believe it relates to adjusting the water level for a load of laundry. Can anyone explain how I can change the water level in relation to the soil level setting? Thank you!

Soil level means how dirty your load of clothes are...heavily soiled, med, light. It usually changes the wash times..my front loader has a smaller wash that is listed as rapid wash..other than that, front loader adjust your water level by the weight of the load put in it..all done automatically by machine...there should be one setting on there for a small load though, I just don't know how your machine has been worded as they are all different.

Soil level refers to how much dirt there is on the clothes - if you don't see much of anything, that is low soil, if they are really dirty and greasy, high soil. I don't know how this will affect water level, but it will probably affect how long they are in the washer, because it will agitate and maybe rinse more often to get rid of heavy soil.
