“schöne Wochenende!” is the most common form used in Germany but like any language there are more formal, lengthy versions.
“Ich höffe, dass du eine schöne Wochenende hast.”
(I hope that you have a nice weekend)
On the subject… have a nice weekend! x

Ich hatte ein schönes, langes Wochenende – I had a nice, long weekend Ich höre, Sie sind gut – I hear you’re well

Tiffany’s first sentence is perfect, but the second one is a bit wrong. Ich hatte ein schönes langes Wochenende…………. Now: In German we usually do not say “Ich höre Sie sind gut”, because that’s just a literal translation of the English wording. In German it should better be “Ich höre es geht Ihnen gut” or “Ich höre dass es Ihnen gut geht” or “Wie ich höre geht es Ihnen gut”. You can choose. Personally, I would prefer the last one, “Wie ich höre geht es Ihnen gut”…. ok: more informally: Ich hatte ein schönes langes Wochenende. Ich habe gehört, dass es Dir gut geht (or even more informal: “Wie ich höre geht es dir gut”)
